This site provides a forum for local groups and individuals with an interest in, and passion for East Lothian's heritage, both natural and cultural.

Partners will be able to develop their own sections of the site, giving them the opportunity to share information, announce events such as talks, workshops, vists and other activities and to participate in the wider discussion about how best to preserve, promote and celebrate East Lothian's history and environment.

What do we mean by Heritage?

Heritage includes not only historic artefacts, archaeological sites and listed buildings, but also cultural traditions, the natural environment, gardens and designed landscapes. In short, the whole of what makes up the East Lothian that we have inherited - created, moulded and changed by past generations.

Who can take part?

This site is open to all who are interested in contributing to discussion about East Lothian's heritage. Groups and individuals who would like to be able to add their contributions to the site should contact the webmaster for a username and password.
