The Local History Centre is based in Haddington and holds records relating to the whole of East Lothian - from Dirleton to Whittingehame, from Musselburgh to Oldhamstocks.
Whether you're doing family history research, writing a local history book or want to find out who once lived in your house we should be the first place to visit.
We don't promise that we have the answer to every question, but our collection is the best place to try and find it.
